I use compressed air to blow the scale out of the dies when I forge, and for my die grinder. This compressor comes on and off by itself, determined by the air pressure. This is accomplished by air valves and air cylinders which move the clutch lever automatically without anything electrical. It was a fun little engineering challenge which works nicely.
