Universal Milling Machine

This is what is known as a universal milling machine: a horizontal mill with a compound, swivelling table. The company that made this was H.A. Stocker, and there is a 1911 patent date on the machine. I use it primarily or making dies and tooling to be used under the forging machines (hammers or press) and for repair. The compound table enables accurate boring of holes at angles for railing spindles.
